Sarah Lianne Lewis’s piece ‘letting the light in’ has been shortlisted for the Chamber-Scale Composition award at the annual Royal Philharmonic Society Awards, to be held on 6th March at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
The work was recorded at Tŷ Cerdd as part of Drake Music Scotland’s project which resulted in the release of the album ‘letting the light in’ on NMC Recordings – the first commercial album to showcase disabled composers working in the UK.

Recordiwyd y gwaith yn Stiwdio Tŷ Cerdd fel rhan o brosiect Drake Music Scotland a arweiniodd at ryddhau’r albwm ‘letting the light in’ ar Recordiadau NMC – yr albwm masnachol cyntaf i arddangos cyfansoddwyr anabl sy’n gweithio yn y DU.
