Sylvia Villa's new work for guitar was premiered at St David's Hall by the virtuoso Sean Shibe on 21 September. 'The Shadowman' was commissioned by Tŷ Cerdd as part of its NightMusic programme which provides paid opportunities for three composers, selected from the cohort of BBC Composition: Wales.
The concert was part of NightMusic, the Hall's ongoing series of contemporary music performances by leading artists such as Jess Gillam and Liam Byrne. The next show which feature Tabea Debus and the Laefer Quartet takes place on Tuesday 15th February 2020.
