Sound artist Leona Jones has been awarded the Karl Sczuka Grant Prize for her 8-channel audiwork 'babblesnatch'. This is one of the three awards the body has made annually since 1955 for works for radio art using musical material and structures in an acoustic performance, and prizewinners are selected from an international callout. Leona will be heading to Germany's Black Forest in the autumn to the well-established Donaueschingen Festival for new music to receive her prize.
