Cultural Freelancers Wales and Mind Newport invite you to free well-being sessions tailored to freelancers working in culture in Wales. These sessions will start in August.
Well-being is the state of being healthy, safe, comfortable and content. Feelings of well-being are fundamental to our overall health, enabling us to successfully overcome difficulties, and achieve what we want out of life.
It’s important to recognise that well-being isn’t just an absence of illness but more a state in which you are able to thrive and not just survive.
In this session we will:
focus on the need to prioritise the five areas of well-being.
recognise when the lack of well-being is having an impact on our mental health.
explore ways of spotting the signs that someone might be struggling with their mental health and well-being.
look at ways we can embed positive practices and routines in our day-to-day lives that will help us manage the normal stresses and strains of life.
Sessions will be facilitated in English, but some of our future sessions will be in Welsh. Please let us know if you would like live translation.
If you have any access requirements, please let us know when you register.
We anticipate high demand so make sure to grab a ticket asap.
Tuesday 3rd August 10am-12pm
Tuesday 10th August 6pm-8pm (Cymraeg)
