In 2023, Making Music embarked on INCLUDE – working alongside four member groups to explore what leisure time music groups can do to include more people, from more diverse demographics, in their activities. Now we want to share what we’ve learned with anyone who organises music making and performances for communities and working to improve diversity in participation.
Please join us online on as we celebrate the end of this piece of work, and share some insightful reflections. You’ll hear from the four groups about the actions they took and the impact they made. Our Critical Friends will talk about what inclusion development is particularly effective for leisure time music groups. We’ll also be launching our brand-new resource, which guides leisure time music groups to create an inclusion action plan of their own, with insights from case studies and learning from INCLUDE.
