We are absolutely thrilled to announce that UniBrass is coming to Cardiff for the first time, and we could not be more excited to welcome this prestigious event to the heart of Wales!
Known for its lively spirit and deep musical heritage, Cardiff is the perfect backdrop for the UK’s premier university brass band competition, which brings together bands from across the country to showcase their talent, creativity, and passion.
UniBrass 2025 will see students from over 20 universities push the boundaries of brass performance with thrilling renditions of classical favourites and daring new compositions as they compete for the UniBrass Trophy and Shield.
Your contest ticket will get you into both sections which run concurrently in the Great Hall of Cardiff University Students' Union (Park Pl, Cardiff CF10 3QN) and the Cardiff University School of Music Concert Hall (Corbett Rd, Cardiff CF10 3EB), respectively.
