Joseph Graydon 1997
Joseph Graydon is a composer from South Wales and is based in London. He has studied composition in Wales, at the Royal Academy of Music and Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His music has been performed and recorded by EXAUDI Vocal Ensemble, Plus Minus Ensemble, The Royal Academy of Music symphony orchestra, alongside soloists of his own generation.
Joseph's output ranges from music for soloists and chamber ensembles, settings for contemporary dance, electroacoustic and electronic works, to large-scale orchestral works.
Joseph is a recipient of the Royal Academy of Music’s Turner-Cooke composition award and has studied with Edmund Finnis and Sylvia Lim and has received support and advice from Hans Abrahamsen, Anna Thorvaldsdottír and Huw Watkins.
