Freya works part-time for TÅ· Cerdd, overseeing CoDI, its artist-development programme and working closely with artists, music creators and partners.  

​

Freya and is an artist and sound designer whose practice spans sound, film, performance and writing, and includes regular collaboration with other artists and musicians. She was the Creative Wales-BSR Fellow at The British School at Rome in 2021 and was a PRS Women Make Music Award recipient in 2023. Freya exhibits her work nationally and internationally, with recent projects including False Note, a solo exhibition at Site Gallery, Sheffield in 2024; the Artes Mundi Wales Venice 10 commission; and Temporary Commons, a solo exhibition at Jerwood Arts, London in 2021.

Freya has worked with and for several arts organisations in Wales, and has a background in higher education and adult community learning. She recently obtained her MA in Sound Design from Bath Spa University, having previously graduated in BA Fine Art from Cardiff School of Art and Design. She was also a member of Syllabus, a year-long peer-led alternative learning programme for artists across the UK.
