CoDI Off-Grid is for anyone in Wales working with sound and music in experimental and expanded ways. Since 2018, Off-Grid has developed a network of artists across Wales, sharing practice in regularly on-line and in-person events; including performances, conferences, gatherings and workshops.
Whether you’re working with instruments, voice, electronics, free-improvisation, sound art, installation, composition, live performance, broadcast/radio, spatial and immersive audio, noise, drone, no-input mixing or any unconventional or avant-garde practice – we want to nurture an inclusive and supportive network that connects sound artists and music-creators in Wales. We support diverse practices across regions and outside of genres, regardless of experience level or ‘formal’ training.
The CoDI Off-Grid network informally gathers online at monthly Caffi Arbrofol / Experimental Café drop-in sessions. You can also join or search the expanding online database of experimental sound artists and composers working in Wales.
Get in touch!
