Tŷ Cerdd’s affricerdd is a strand of Tapestri, a new initiative to create a living musical archive of the people, languages and communities of Wales (funded by Arts Council of Wales’s Connect & Flourish programme). affricerdd is a partnership with Sub Sahara Advisory Panel, and celebrates the work of Wales-based music-creators of African descent through a series of commissions.
The project's two strands are:

Cân: affricerdd – commissioning music-creators to make an original music-video of their own new song, in any language

Plethu: affricerdd – a partnership with National Dance Company Wales, commissioning pairs of dance artists and music-creators to collaborate on dance/music videos
