Pete Harrison - conductor
Pete studied at the Royal College of Music, not really sure what life would hold in store for him, but certain that something interesting would come along. Having played the bassoon with various orchestras and ensembles, he was asked to play in the West End show, The Hunting of the Snark which led to a run of shows including Lautrec, Martin Guerre and Beauty and the Beast. His first real conducting opportunity came as assistant conductor on Crazy for You and he went on to play a similar role on a number of subsequent productions. Through his West End contacts Pete is also now working with Andy Barnwell, fixing bands for shows as well as conducting major concerts and commercial sessions, including several with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and Raymond Gubbay Ltd. Pete is the Musical Director of the Inspiration Choir in Southampton.
