Applications are welcomed from those who play saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, piano, bass or drums. Please read carefully the notes below before clicking on the application form on the bottom of the page.

2014 SEASON
NYJW will meet for a 4-day residential course at Monmouth School for Girls in August. The course takes place during the Brecon Jazz Festival and students will have the opportunity to attend some of its concerts.
During the course players will work on big band and small ensemble repertoire under the expert tutelage of our team of professional coaches, led by Percy Pursglove. In addition to music making, members enjoy a lively entertainment programme run by the pastoral staff. Activities usually include sports such as swimming, football and rounders and evening events such as quizzes, talent nights and much more. The course culminates with a public performance in Monmouth School for Girls' Theatre.
